Famous for its white-sand beaches, Bradenton is just an hour south of Tampa and only 10 minutes from the city of Sarasota which is known for its museums, live theater and its own symphony, ballet and opera companies. Student Activities and Field Trips
Our faculty and staff strive to help students feel at ease and adjust more easily to the language and culture of the United States. Our goal is to offer a well-balanced combination of course-work and extra-curricular activities that make learning effective as well as enjoyable. Our students take part in a variety of activities both in and beyond the classroom. In addition to taking local field trips with their classes, students also participate in local cultural and recreational events from a traditional Halloween pumpkin carving to a festive international Thanksgiving dinner. Every effort is made to help students feel at home in American culture.

On Campus Housing (Available only for English and Sports students)
A Residential Mentor is in charge of each dormitory. IMG Academies' Residential Mentors are directly responsible for the safety and welfare of the dormitory residents. University of Miami staff works with IMG mentors to ensure that our students are sleeping and studying enough to be successful in their endeavors. IMG also provides a variety of nightly and weekly fun activities both on and off-campus.
