TOEFL Preparation

The TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-based Test) measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand English as it is spoken, written and heard at U.S. college and university settings. International students must take the TOEFL exam to be admitted into four-year colleges and universities in the United States.
The UM TOEFL iBT Preparation Program is a ten-week evening course and is available to students with a high level of English. 

• Students learn the skills necessary for successful performance on the iBT
• Students receive feedback on their performance of typical iBT test tasks
• Students practice test-taking strategies to increase their speed and their scores
• Small classes ensure focus an individual needs

Private TOEFL lessons are available upon request. Students receive one-on-one instruction from a University of Miami teacher.
