I was born and grew up in Miami, soI am a native Floridian. I have two grown sons: one lives with me in Sarasota and the other lives in South Miami. I have always loved to travel, so it was no surprise when I went to work for Eastern Air Lines in 1972. I started as a part-time reservations agent and was a Director of Revenue management when they closed the doors in 1991. I loved every minute of working for the airlines so it was natural that I began working for Caravel Cruise Lines. I worked as trainer and general manager of a outsource call center that handled calls for travel related web sites such as ORBITZ.After moving to Sarasota I wasamazed to interview for a position with University of Miami. I lived 3 miles from the university for most of my life and it took moving to Sarasota to come to work at UM. I have a totally new career here and Iwork with the greatest people!
