Intensive English Program More information
can be found at www.miami.edu/iep.
The
Intensive English Program - an important part of the University of Miami
since 1951
Whether
you plan to study English for academic, professional, or personal reasons,
you will dramatically improve your language skills at the Intensive English
Program (IEP). You will learn far more than just another language; you will
gain an understanding of American culture and customs while meeting people
from many countries around the world.
The
Intensive English Program courses follow an academic and skills-based curriculum.
The essential skills of listening and speaking, reading and writing are integrated
into one complete program of study. Classes vary by level and include targeted
skills such as conversation, or integrated skills like English for business
or current events. Application to the IEP at the University of Miami is very
easy. If you are 18 years or older, you are eligible to attend.
