Learning for the sake of learning enriches one's life, hones the mind and builds bonds between new and old friends that can last a lifetime. At the University of Miami, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) provides a relaxed learning environment for those over the age of 50 who share a common understanding that life should be filled with continual intellectual growth and exploration.
Founded in 1984 as the Institute for Retired Professionals, OLLI offers members an ongoing menu of programs such as languages, history, literature, the arts, current events and world affairs, to name just a few. With expert instructors, including UM faculty, courses are high-level and high-interest, without being high-stress.
At Osher, you'll find a world of new experiences with a changing catalog of courses that will be sure to interest you. But, beyond the program's rich offerings, you'll also find a community of new friends from fascinating backgrounds, each on their own quest to continue to enrich their understanding of the world around them.
Take the next step on your journey through lifelong learning. Join us at Osher today.
