This course describes the use and application of quality tools such as Statistical Process Control that can be objectively applied to a complex operational area of Transfusion Medicine. In addition, the course illustrates different managerial approaches for the implementation, documentation and evaluation of organizational changes that may contribute to the improvement of safety and reliability in the operational aspects of Transfusion Medicine.
