This course will present the different functions of Marketing as it relates to blood centers and transfusion services. Principles of Market Research, donor attitudes, identification and definition of specific marketing objectives and strategies will be discussed and analyzed. In addition, discussion on the effectiveness on the long and short-term outcome of marketing campaigns will be presented.
