| This course presents and analyzes different models of regionalization of blood banks and transfusion services. In-depth analysis and study will be conducted to assess the advantages, disadvantages, financial aspects, community impact and quality of services issues for each model. The student will be exposed to diverse regionalization approaches based on public-governmental, private sector and other models currently operational in various parts of the world. The strengths and weaknesses of each will be thoroughly evaluated.
