This class presents the integrated processes involved in the preparation and formulation of a budget. This course will also include the evaluation of departmental budgetary requests, their consistency with strategic objectives, growth projections data, labor costs, inflationary pressures and their impact on cost of supplies and demand of services. Particular attention will be given to the need of involving all organizational levels in the budget process in order to improve coordination and operational efficiency.
