This three-day immersion course incorporates more than 20 hours of Spanish language training.  With small, interactive classes, students are able to absorb and retain more information than ordinarily thought possible. Designed for business and health care professionals, the Intensive Language Institute offers two mini-mersion tracks:

• Spanish for Health Care Professionals
  • Communicate confidently with Spanish-speaking patients.  This course is ideal for doctors, nurses, paramedics, hospital and clinic receptionists and administrators, and others who frequently interact with Spanish-speaking patients. Focus is on realistic situations and the specialized vocabulary that a health professional requires. Students receive an extensive vocabulary list that is used in role-plays, dialogues, and exercises. Students study both grammar and cultural components
• Spanish for Business Professionals
  • This unique course offers business people a foundation for Spanish conversation and understanding. The course concentrates on the speech, comprehension, and writing skills needed to succeed in business with Spanish. Extensive vocabulary, role-plays, oral skill development (negotiating, reporting) and written skill development (email, reports) are a core part of this course.
