Our Students

Thousands of South Florida residents of all ages have sought new skills and knowledge in the friendly halls of UM’s Division of Continuing & International Education. In fall 2004, 564 students were in degree or credit certificate programs and in non-degree studies including career advancement, computer skills and professional certification.

About 9,740 degree-seeking undergraduates study in UM’s eight schools and colleges and continuing education division. More than 5,000 students are in graduate and professional programs, including law and medicine. They take advantage of the unparalleled cultural and career opportunities that Coral Gables and nearby Miami offer—one reason The Princeton Review keeps ranking ours one of the best college towns.
