FAQs Is this course for me?
Absolutely. The short-term commitment and dynamic atmosphere keeps you on task
and enjoying the course despite the intensity of the schedule.
How can I learn Spanish in seven days?
Our innovative curricula, and focus on good use of class time, help us to make
the most of every minute. You will be in class more than 45 hours total; our classes
meet for seven straight days: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday, and Friday. The fact that you are immersed into the language (in
our classrooms, only Spanish is spoken) means you’re acquiring it rather
than just learning it.
Who are my classmates?
Business and medical professionals, government and educational administrators,
teachers, and world travelers will be your classmates. The only requirement
is a desire to speak Spanish and study its customs and culture.
What will I learn?
As a basic/elementary student, you will be able to speak on
concrete topics, give autobiographical information, understand and give directions,
handle numbers
and generally survive in a social situation!
As an intermediate level participant, you will receive a thorough
review of the basics and move on to more advanced structures including the
imperfect
and subjunctive. Fluency at this level will require a combination of idiomatic
expressions and core competencies in Spanish.
As an advanced student, you will briefly review the more advanced
aspects of grammar and transition to more complex levels of expression.
I am from out-of-town. Is there housing available?
Off campus housing is available at local hotels located within walking distance.
Rates are available upon request. Click

Is Miami a good place to practice my Spanish?
Of course! Miami is a natural environment to practice your newly acquired or
improved language. The high degree of cultural Hispanic diversity offers
you an opportunity to explore the Spanish-speaking world without leaving
the U.S.
